* If I don’t share the wisdom and positivity that is That Hummingbird Life, then I am not serving you readers well. I first discovered @megkissack on Twitter (which is my go to source for all things in life ever and always. Toujours.) That Hummingbird Life oozes positivity, promotes creativity and most importantly, speaks honest, truthful words out into the world. Follow along on Twitter for a daily dose of wisdom that sounds as if it’s coming straight from your best friend’s mouth or visit the site for longer blog posts that will feel like you wrote them yourself (if only you weren’t so scared). A recent favorite passage of mine from the site:
“…I go into this place of deep sadness where I wish I didn’t care so much, wish I didn’t have a dream or vision in the first place and wish I could just be happy going to some mundane desk job and getting on with life.”
Who hasn’t felt like that?! I’m a huge believer that in order to be successful in our creativity, well, it really, really helps to have a support system…and that’s exactly why A Cat We Have was created…but thankfully, there is plenty of room for all of us and you can NEVER have too much support! Therefore, I will promote the hell out of anyone who has a goal and tries hard to stick with it. And if they happen to encourage and inspire while they are doin’ their thing? Bonus! Go say “hey” to Meg if you aren’t shy, and if you are, then just make a cup of coffee (or gin is fine), haul up her site on your laptop and settle in to be inspired!
Are you inspired by anyone on social media? Are there any blogs or sites you always go back to for inspiration? We want to showcase people doing cool, creative work, so please, let us know who we should follow and who we should tell our readers about!
